1. Who can use TinkySpeak

TinkySpeak provides accessible communication (AAC) board building and a community for the people who support communicators — parents, speech-language pathologists, teachers, and therapists. You must be 13 years of age or older to create an account. Accounts are intended to be held by adults; children are board users, not account holders, and should not register their own accounts.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information, for keeping your password secure, and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use & community conduct

TinkySpeak serves vulnerable people. You agree not to harass, threaten, exploit, or endanger any user; not to post unlawful, abusive, or sexually exploitative content; and not to attempt to contact or solicit minors. We provide reporting and blocking tools, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten user safety.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the boards, posts, and materials you create. You grant TinkySpeak a limited license to host, display, and share that content as needed to operate the service (for example, when you publish a board or share it via a link or QR code). Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, including third-party copyrighted or trademarked characters and images.

5. Not medical or clinical advice

TinkySpeak is a communication and authoring tool. It does not provide medical, clinical, or therapeutic advice and is not a substitute for professional judgment. Clinicians remain responsible for their own clinical decisions and for any materials they publish.

6. Service availability & changes

We work to keep the service available and reliable but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.

7. Termination

You may stop using TinkySpeak at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe puts users at risk.
